Soon to be released, Neil Gaiman’s Graveyard Book looks amazing. For any fan of the popular UK author of fantasy (best known for American Gods and now-feature-film Stardust, and one-time pen behind the Sandman series of comics) the impending release of The Graveyard Book is quite a thrill.
I for one read this review and found the hair on my neck tingling–the author of the review being Mr. Peter S Beagle, the man responsible for “The Last Unicorn” one of fantasy’s little gems despite the rather bad movie rendition:
“The Graveyard Book manages the remarkable feat of playing delightful jazz riffs on Kipling’s classic Jungle Books. One might call this book a small jewel, but in fact it’s much bigger within than it looks from the outside.”
